Parishioners are asked to do their best to participate in the offering of the weekly Sunday Mass and to reflect on the centrality of Sunday worship in the life of the Church. For the time being Masses are at 6 pm (Saturday), 11 am and 6 pm on Sundays. Mass in Tenbury remains unchanged at 9 am each Sunday. It is likely that we shall discontinue the Saturday evening Mass in the early Autumn. During the Summer months, weather permitting, Mass on Sundays at 11 am will be offered in the Rectory Garden.
The opportunity for Confessions has now been restored and will be available at our usual time; Saturday 11:45 am - 12:45 pm. and at any other by request. Please check the weekly newsletter in case of alternation. This Sacrament is a very important part of Catholic life and we hope parishioners will resume their good practice now the opportunity is available.
Our Church is now open for prayer each day. We ask that those coming to pray should use the sanitising agencies that are to be found by both doors. Use of the Test, Track and Trace QR code remains an option but is no longer compulsory.
The church will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised regularly.
Mass is offered each day and attention to face coverings and social distancing is still important. Please respect the sensitivities of those who may still be uncertain and anxious. Those wishing to ensure space are asked to display the BLANK SIDE of bench notices and we are all asked to observe such indications.
There are NO LONGER restrictions on capacity for weddings, funerals and baptisms.
The one way system is NO LONGER in use.
Holy water stoups will remain empty for the time being and during Mass the Sign of Peace will REMAIN omitted and Holy Communion will NOT be received from the Chalice.
Those wishing to receive Holy Communion on the tongue MAY now do so.
